Do you feel like you're not yourself these days - anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck holding yourself to impossibly high standards? Maybe it's hard to unwind after a long day at work or school, or your relationships feel more strained than they used to. If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone, and I'm here to help.

Anxiety

Life is full of uncertainty, and for many people, that uncertainty shows up as anxiety - the kind that gets in the way of reaching your goals. Clients often tell me they feel "stuck," overthinking and replaying the past or worrying about the future. Many of my clients seeking therapy for anxiety are professionals who place immense pressure on themselves to "have it all" and struggle with perfectionism.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety in one or many areas of life - in relationships, social situations, at work or school, and in the everyday moments that add up. As a therapist in Washington, DC, my approach draws on evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), to explore how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors shape everyday functioning. Together, we'll develop concrete strategies to calm your mind, regulate your nervous system, and build lasting relief from anxiety.

Career Stress & Burnout

I specialize in therapy for career stress and burnout - helping professionals work through career transitions, workplace conflict, career pauses, leadership challenges, imposter syndrome, and career identity development. Having worked closely with attorneys, lobbyists, management consultants, professors, nonprofit executives, senior government officials and other business executives, I understand the specific pressures that come with high-achieving careers.

Because career stress rarely exists in isolation, I also work with issues that are career-adjacent, including anxiety, interpersonal dynamics, emotion regulation, and decision-making. I use acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), which helps you clarify what matters most to you and use that as a compass for how you want to show up at work. My goal is to help you shift your inner dialogue, build greater confidence, and restore your energy and sense of balance.

I also work with high school, college, and graduate students exploring their emerging career identity and managing the stress of college or graduate school applications.

Maternal Mental Health & Parent Support

Becoming a mother is one of the most rewarding (and challenging) transitions you'll experience in life. Many of the mothers I work with question their parenting choices and feel the strain of balancing a career with the demands of family life, while others are navigating a career pause to focus on raising children. I specialize in maternal mental health, including postpartum depression and anxiety, as well as the emotional impact of reproductive challenges such as fertility struggles, pregnancy loss, and difficult pregnancies. I help mothers ease the anxiety and perfectionism that can come with parenting, and support women in finding real alignment between their careers and personal lives, whatever that balance looks like for them.

I also work with parents of children, adolescents, and young adults, drawing on child development research to help nurture and strengthen these evolving relationships as your children grow.
